1961 Chevrolet Corvette, 245 HP, 4 Speed Manual, VIN 10867S101504. Asking Price was $89,000. About 175 miles on complete nut and bolt frame off restoration completed a few years ago. Numbers Matching. Ready for NCRS Judging, Red with red interior. White Coves. Just about everything on and in this Corvette is in like new condition or has been rebuilt to NOS Condition. This was a clean, low mileage car that underwent a full frame restoration. The entire Drive Train has been rebuilt. This includes the 283 245 HP motor, the Borg Warner T10 4 speed Transmission, the dual 4 Barrel Carbs, the rear differential, etc. The following is new or rebuilt to OEM specs: Brakes, Generator, Clutch, Gauges, etc. Everything works. This car drives better than it did when it was new. This is the nicest driving straight axel corvette that I have driven. (And I have driven more than most.) There are no noises in axle or transmission. Car is tight, Steering is tight. etc. This car is also fast. No chips. No scratches. Chrome is perfect. See undercarriage photos. During the last few years, this car has been taken to a few car shows and driven under 50 miles. All new parts. Only things that are not NOS quality on this 1961 Corvette are the following: The 2 inch chrome spear tips above the head lights are original and have a few light scratches. One of the hub caps has a couple of small dents along the outside edge – very tough to see. Small paint chip on driver’s side rocker panel below door. This car was purchased from the estate of an older gentleman. Since the frame off restoration, it has only been taken to car shows on a trailer. Over the last year or so I have driven it about 150 miles to make sure everything stays in working order. All fluids have just been changed. Some new parts come with the car.
