Description of 1967 Chevrolet Corvette

This is a very nice surviving, unrestored car with matching numbers. Always garaged. I purchased this car about nine years ago from a Corvette dealer based on the no-hit body, integrity and overall originality. Other than the 4-Speed, radio, shoulder beltsand the fully tinted glass, it is a no option car. As a road race enthusiast, I wanted it this way to feel the briskness of the road and the simplicity in ownership.

The original color is Goodwood Green. The car was painted in lacquer 30 years ago and it is holding up great with no cracking but does have some nicks. This color is Riverside Gold that the original owner thought might look good and he wanted a change. The Interior is 100 percent untouched original and only the carpet is showing any signs of age. Even the original clear plastic floor mats are still with the car.

The engine is matching numbers to the car’s original and unmolested data plate under the dash. It has never been apart. All engine bay components are original and matching to the car. Only the water pump was replaced (original is included). The engine does feature the dealer added correct 350hp alloy valve covers. I rebuilt the original Holley carb with ethanol friendly components and used the blue Holley gaskets. I also just installed an ethanol friendly OEM fuel pump.

In my ownership, I have replaced the rear mufflers with Magnaflows, added new stainless rear tips and new chrome bezels. I replaced the rocker panel covers and replaced thesill covers. I rebuilt the left headlight motor so that it matched the speed of the right side and I had the front end aligned with the steering wheel perfectly centered. This cars drives tight and smooth. They are only original once.

The stance is excellent, nice and low and level from left to right. The car tracks perfectly down the highway and is a joy to drive. There are no cracks on the dash top and no rips or tears in the seat upholstery. The engine is quiet, transmission shifts perfectly and rear axle geared 3.36:1 is quite.

This is a great candidate to restore, scuff and respray back to Goodwood Green, convert to a 427 clone or Pro-Tourer. I looked at over 25 cars before buying this car for it’s originality and perfect panel fit. The bumpers were replaced with NOS units and they are pristine. They don’t come along often like this.

I have provided a safe home and adult driven her sparingly in my ownership. The car is sold with a Georgia registration certificate, a notarized bill of sale and a copy of the Georgia law stating that older cars in the South and the State of Georgia are non-title vehicles. Most states will honor this and will transfer to a title in your State. Please verify with your DMV before bidding. I have sold cars world wide this way. Car is insured with Hagerty and always garaged.

Update: I don't want to be negative, but for the hecklerwho continues emailing that thinks that this car has had a re-stamped engine, just stop to think... who is going to re-stamp a 300 HP engine?...and why? Maybe a 350 HP engine because they got over reved and threw rods through the side of the block. This is only a manipulative buying tactic. There were production hold ups in 1967, cars got pushed aside.GM started adding diversityin gender in the factories, the tooling was wearing out for theC2 cars. There is just so many variables and discrepancies and opinions. I purchased the car as a matching#'s car from adealer. Yes, I know, the color, hose clamps and radiator hoses are not "original". I have not touched the engine and it has never been apart from the looks of the patina. OK? The accusationsare such nonsense...and the phone calls with all of your pompous knowledge and hundreds of Corvettes that you have bought and soldis just ahot air.The world of Corvette folks is really something...critical to the bone.Just use common sense. No one else even shows the numbers as good as I have. It's a great carfor the money if you want a super straight, unrestored'67 4-speed coupe with it's original engine. I won't be bullied even if you "know people"and you want to write and talk about it on NCRS forums. I am not stating that this caris a "NCRS survivor" with all that hype. The bulliers only want a "gift" from me with bragging rights to"flip it" or just the body anyway, to turn it into a Pro-Tourer.

Update #2: Again, please stop with the deranged opinionated emails. You are just trying to tick me off. I can't believe the cruelty of people thatpretendto beexperts, when only nothing better to do than to email their critisism for personal pleasure and no intention to purchase. Look at the panel fit on this beautiful car. Look at the headlight fitment and the tops of the scalloped doors. This is already the least expensive '67 Coupe on Ebay. If you want a restored car that has been patched up, a replaced front clip assembly or sectioned in nose, a late model 350 engine in it and jacked-up higher than stock with aftermarket stiff Chinese springs, then please go that route. Please don't buy this car or make me 1/2-4/5 price offers. Enjoy the auction and have a nice day. I'm an easy going, nice guy that bought this car for the love of it. Would like to see it go to the same.

Sold in as-is condition with no warranty stated or implied. I can be reached for specifics at my cell: 478 957 9778.
