This is a very original car, except for the tires and wheels that I recently added. I do have the original tires and wheels, along with the original hubcaps which go with the car. It is a 1972 Chevelle Malibu with 81,900 original miles. It was assembled at the Leed's plant in Kansas City, Missouri and sold brand new at Van-T Chevrolet in Topeka, Kansas. The original buyer owned it till lately. It has never been wrecked, and has the original paint. It does have some scratches and spots as any car this age would have, but very little rust. I had the front seat recovered. It looks like the carpet may have been replaced at one time. The trunk still has the original jack with the original plastic cover on it. When I bought it, the original tire was still in the trunk. I have this and it goes with the car. It is Cranberry Red with a white vinyl top and white interior. The vinyl top is in excellent shape with no rust bubbles. It does have two strange burn looking marks on the vinyl. I included a picture of those. It has the original 307 V8 with a 2brl carburetor, automatic, factory ac, power steering, disc brakes, 10 bolt posi traction rear end with 2:73 gears, bench seat and shift on the column; please reference build sheet for complete options. The floors, trunk and rocker panels are solid. This Chevelle runs great, starts easy, and drives straight and smoothly. The heat and air conditioning work, as do all the accessories. All documentation, factory protecto plate, build sheet, dealership invoice, owner’s manual and factory 50,000 mile warranty paperwork, goes with the car. The oil change sticker in the front windshield shows how little the car was driven, dated 12-1-05 with 81,000 miles. This is a great old car. As the man said...they are only original once.
