This car runs terrific. Steering is tight and the ride is a pleasure. Chevy made 40,606 1981 vets but only about 5000 were stick shifts. This month all of the weatherstripping has been replaced---both t-tops, both doors, window weatherstripping and door pillars--even the hood weatherstripping. Alternator is new--as is the battery-The lower radiator hose and thermostat were changed just to be safe---A/C is perfect--tires have plenty of tread ---all new carpeting--seats are perfect as are the door panels and underside of the t-tops---complete tune up ---new calipers and brake pads. The car has power steering, power windows, power seats, tilt and telescoping steering wheel, power antenna does need to be repaired---an Alpine radio with blue tooth has been installed and a set of speakers mounted in the rear cargo compartment.--see photos-- The title is a "salvage" title from an accident in Ohio back in 2006. I don't know what happened but the car was driven thousands of miles after the accident and then issued a salvage title as the carfax report shows. One of my other corvettes --a 1968--has a salvage title.. having a salvage title means nothing to me. I drive it and enjoy it. If I ever decide to sell it then someone else will drive it and enjoy it............. Oh, by the way...The car passed inspection in January of this year.
