1967 50 Series tilt bed car hauler 62,407 original miles (as per claim of previous owner) 20 foot tile bed Hydraulic winch 292 cubic inch straight 6 cylinder. 4-speed manual transmission 2-speed axle power steering power brakes Yellow strobe light on roof 2 sets of loading back up lights CB radio Clean title The truck was purchased in January 2003, at which time everything was working It was only driven 3 miles after it was received. This is not uncommon as the owner purchased many like vehicles which once delivered were never used. It was then stored out in the weather. The owner passed away in 2014 and this truck is now being sold as part of the estate. As the truck has been sitting unused for ~13 years, the gas in the tank has likely evaporated or turned to tar. This is true for the fuel in the carburetor as well. As such it will be necessary to flush the tank and carburetor before it can be started. The oil contains no moisture but should be changed. Grabbing the fixed fan blade, the engine can be rotated until the compression of the cylinders stops it. So the engine is not seized. Since it has been sitting the brakes may be frozen....this is unknown. The distributor is that of a later model truck. The truck is located in Clear Brook Virginia. I am the executor and live out of state. However I will be at the estate property in Clear Brook VA for the next two weeks. The vehicle can be viewed prior to the auction close if you are near by.
