1964 Chevrolet Corvette 4 speed convertible. Has numbers matching drivetrain. 300 hp 327 v8 coupled to the close ratio muncie manual trans. Even the carb is original. Frame is in great condition. Carb could use a rebuild. Convertible top is recent. Always stored inside. Paint is rough. Needs a good paint job. Original color is white. Has had new bushings in the front and rear. New fiberglass rear spring last fall. Still have the original. New brake lines, shoes, wheel cylinders within the past 2 years. Is not driven much. Body is in very good condition, interior is original and needs updated. Carpet is rough and faded. Factory rally wheels, not original. Close ratio muncie trans shifts fine, car drives with no issues. Top goes up and down no problems. car runs and drives with no issues. Carb does need a rebuild or service, makes it run rough. Gas tank has been replaced at some point also. Car will not be released for pickup until funds have cleared. $500 deposit through paypal within 24 hrs of auction close, deposit is non-refundable. Balance paid and cleared prior to title or vehicle being picked up. On Apr-02-16 at 08:52:56 PDT, seller added the following information: This is my brothers car, he has owned it since the early 80s. The frame has no rust issues. Does not have the typical soft frame found in so many 64s. This car has been stored in a garage since he purchased it and has never been driven on winter salted roads. Last fall he installed new front springs, new shocks on all 4 corners, new rear control arm bushings, new gas tank and fiberglass rear leaf spring.
