Frame:The original frame was sandblasted, primed, and sealed with semi-gloss black rustoleum. Rear springs were moved under the frame rails for tire clearance. Motor mounts were converted to side mount, and a "batwing" crossmember constructed for exhaust clearance. Steel plate gussets were added to the frame as needed for strength. Tubular control arms, dropped spindles, a one piece power steering box, and a sway bar were added up front, and the original rearend was replaced with a 9" Ford housing with disc brakes. Gabriel "Silver E" Adjustable Shocks are installed front and rear. All new ball joints, bushings, body mounts, etc. were installed during construction. BFG T/A'sare installed all around on chrome smoothies, 225's up front and 255's in back.Note: Alignment Specs + 0.5 Degree Camber, + 3.0 Degrees Caster, 1/16" Toe, Thrust Angle Is "0". This car tracks straight as an arrow. Interior:Blue and white Ultra Leather was stitched over memory foam. Matching door panels, kick panels, and package tray were reconstructed using ABS plastic, memory foam, and Ultra Leather. Foam /Foil sound deadener was added above the headliner. Rubberized/Foil sound deadener was applied to the floor, under the dash, to the kick panels, package tray, doors, and trunk. New headliner and carpets were installed. The trunk is carpeted, includes spare tire with cover, and has a trunk mounted high CCA battery with shut off. Engine:355 CID late model small block Chevy. 10:0 to 1 compression +.030 hypereutectic pistons, standard rod and main journals, Comp Cams Thumper Hydraulic Roller Cam and valve springs, 7/16" rocker arm studs, stainless steel roller rockers, Edlebrock Victor Jr. intake manifold, Mallory flat cap ignition and coil, Edlebrock 650 cfm carb. Block prep included align boring then CNC boring the cylinders using the main bore for reference, decks were CNC machined parallel to main bore. Heads were given a three-angle valve job, Teflon seals, spring height and pressure set, and were machined for screw in studs and guide plates. Comp Cams said this combination developed 400+ HP and 400 ft. lbs. of torque on their dyno. CNC machining +/- .0003" Transmission: TH 700-R4 Professionally built for high torque including kevlar bands, new crack proof drums, manual valve body, and a 2000 rpm stall converter. Rear end: 9" Ford equipped with disc brakes and a 4.10 ratio 4-pinion Trac Loc. The third memberhas adouble rib case with the large front and rear pinion bearings. Miscellanous: High volume electric fuel pump and Fram racing fuel filter stainless steel braided hoses on master cylinder, brake calipers, and transmission cooler, Aluminum radiator, condenser, water pump, Hod Rod Air Elite AC/Heat custom installation using original dash controls Autometer gauges, Speedometer, Tach, Fuel level, Oil pressure, Temperature, Voltage 100 Amp single wire Alternator EZ Wiring harness, JVC /MP3/CD/HD Radio Chassis exit headers, 2-1/2" exhaust with flowmaster clone mufflers Note: Full payment is required withinseven days of auction close.
