Description of 1957 Chevrolet Corvette |
C & S Corvettes, Inc. is proud to offer this beautiful 1957 Chevrolet Corvette.
Being a very early car (Serial # 214), you may notice certain parts that look like they belong on a 1956--that is because the very early cars DID have some 1956 parts (like the rear-view mirror and the WonderBar radio that doesn't say "Wonder Bar" on it) installed by the factory.
This car is Cascade Green over Shoreline Beige interior, with Shoreline Beige Coves and a NEW Al Knoch Beige soft top. It has the original #'s matching block and is equipped with the Dual Quad Carb Setup, producing 245 horses. It was originally equipped with a single 4-barrell carb and intake which produced 230 horses. It is mated to a 4-speed transmission that shifts quite nicely. This car was originally equipped with a 3-speed manual transmission, as the 4-speed units weren't available until later in the model year. The original 3-speed transmission is with the car. The car has FACTORY POWER WINDOWS and a manual soft top. The radio, while original in appearance, has been modified internally to receive FM signal and offers AUX Inputs.
This car draws a crowd wherever it goes, and the attention to detail given to it during the restoration is evident. It has the nicest quality body and paint that we have seen on a car of this vintage. Everything works as it should. This car needs NOTHING.
