This is a very rare 1955 Corvette. Export # 239 of 700 made. Exported to Belgium in 1955 and returned to the US in 1993. Documents showthe car traveled through Belgium, France, Germany and Sweden. We have reason to believe this car was owned by King Leopold of Belgium and used as a golf cart. Car still has the golf bag rack on the rear of car. Car has been restored to its original matching numbers throughout. Judged 98% by NCRS and 98% plus at Bloomington Gold. Also judged 98% Gold Spinner (Triple Crown). This car also was the celebrity pick at Corvettes @ Carlisle by Gary Mortimore of NCRS and by National C-VT Museum Dave McLelland (retired chief engineer). Chips choice award # 167, and Ken Amric award featured in the magazineOn Solid Ground and the magazineC-V Fever.
