Description of 1969 Chevrolet Camaro |
For sale is my 1969 Prostreet Camaro Z/28/RS (Tribute) (Clear Title) (Please No Trades---or Tire Kickers) This car was completely stripped down to the very last bolt and was rebuilt using all new parts down to the very last bolt, all stainless. The majority of the body panels were replaced with new GM steel and 4 inch Harwood fiberglass hood. All bumpers replaced, all glass replaced, all lights replaced, all window trim….well, you get the idea. The rear wheel wells were stretched 4 inches to except those MONSTER 33x18.5s. Great strides were taken to give this car the perfect Prostreet stance; low and mean. Just look at how the custom built aluminum rear wing complements the rest of the car. A lot of time and energy was expended getting everything just right. The Heartbeat of this Hot Rod comes from an absolutely wicked attention-getting professionally built 496 CHEV BIG BLOCK; which has an intimidating sound that is not for the weak hearted. You will NOT go unnoticed…. There’s a NOS fogger kit installed that’s never been used! The 8.20 on the windshield was fora show, I have no idea what this car will run as I've never had it to the track. I built it to have fun on the street and it is indeed fun!!! The custom interior has a combination of tweed, billet aluminum and one of the best looking, cleanest sheet metal jobs I’ve seen. As a matter of fact, the carpet is from Mercedes stock. The Covan dash with custom billet work is outfitted with great looking Autometer Pro Comp Ultra Lite gauges, Painless wiring harness. The seats are Kerkey’s with gray tweed and the red safety 5 point harness is Simpson’s. The steering wheel is Billet Specialties with a chrome, Ididit tilt column and the shifter is a BM Pro Bandit. Interior door handles, window lifts and rear view mirror, all Billet Specialties. The exterior paint is RED with White Pearl/Metallic racing stripes which look awesome in the sun light. The paint is DuPont, base coat with chromoa premier clear coat and is, very, very smooth and expensive. I’m positive it would cost well over $100K to duplicate this car, if you were to include finding an excellent foundation to start with, parts and labor and trust me, it does not take long to add up to some real money these days. This car has always been garaged, pampered and driven very sparingly to the local Hot Rod hangout. Here are a few more of the basic details, but clearly it’s not everything that could have been listed, so please call or message me if you have other questions.
