1970 Chevelle SS396 Convertible

Restored 75,000 Mile 20+ Option California Car

This Chevelle is an excellent example of a highly desirable and original number matching SS396 convertible with just over 75,000 documented miles from new. This car has over 20 factory options. It was manufactured in April 1970 at the Van Nuys plant and had been continually owned in Southern California until the car was shipped to Kansas in 2014 where the final touches of the restoration took place.

An extensive frame-on multi-year restoration was completed in 2015. The Chevelle is finished in the original and desirable factory Classic White with Medium Red interior and optional equipment just as the car was originally produced including the numbers matching 396/350 hp engine, 4-bbl carburetor, TH400 Turbo Hydra-matic transmission and 3.31 rear end.
