Description of 1968 Chevrolet C-10 c20

1968 Chevrolet C20 Long Bed
GOOD- 250 CI Straight 6 pulls like a mule. 3 speed manual column shift and clutch are perfect. 3/4 ton truck w/ 8 lug axles. Power steering added. Original interior. Manual brakes. New gas tank. New brake lines. New carburetor. Runs perfect. 8 track player works. 2 owners including me. I bought this truck from the estate and the truck has been barn-kept since it was new. Based on wear and documents, this truck has about 47,000 miles on it. 4 new shocks and 3" lowering springs on the rear, but I still have the old HD springs. Have documents from the purchase in 10/1967. Rust is only surface except in the lower right side cab (pictured). Bed, floors, frame, etc in great condition. Blinkers work. dome light works. Tailgate works fine. Bed is solid. Original seat in good condtion. Great patina. Tires have good tread on them and seem to be in good shape. I drive back and forth to work on Fridays which is 100 miles r/t. Brakes work well. I get lots of compliments and looks driving this truck, especially with the "we like fat chicks" stickers on the doors!
BAD- Speedo needle is broken and the odo/speedo stopped working about 500 miles ago.Dime sized rust in lower rear right side of the cab (pictured). Parking brake needs adjusting. Small oil leak started about 1 week ago. Maybe a tablespoon of oil every 2-3 days. Left side of instrument cluster needs a new bulb. Apparently, the front part has been repainted many years ago. i don' know why. Dash pad is cracked. Wheels, hubcaps, and rear bumper are not original. Heater core might leak because the coolant lines aren't hooked up to it. i haven't tested it yet. Exhaust is not original and rattles when the engine is started, but then is smooth as silk. Heater/blower fan doesn't work.
