Description of 1969 Chevrolet Camaro

I am regretfully putting my 69 Camaro Convertible up for sale. There are 80+ pictures and a You Tube video below this description so you can see what this car is! In the You Tube video you can hear the exhaust when the Zoomies are opened up and closed so you will know how it sounds each way! This Camaro is a nut and bolt restoration that was started 10 years ago and took 7 years to finish! The underside of this Camaro is about as nice as the top side and there are only about 2500 miles on it since the restoration. I am not representing it as a real SS or RS car but as a Pro-Touring Style RS/SS Clone Restomod! It is really cool and has some unique features such as the QTP Exhaust cutouts like you have seen on Bitchin Rides! Dave Kindig calls them Zoomies! When you want to stay off everyones radar it has a nice exhaust rumble then when you want more attitude flip the switch and a few seconds later the cutouts open up and you go to open headers! Pretty wild! It has not seen water in 10 years! It has just been dusted and polished with a microfiber towel and Wizard’s Mish n Shine! The Trans was just serviced with Pennsoil Synchromesh Manual Transmission Fluid and the Rear End with Motul Full Synthetic Gear Oil. There is a lot to mention so here are the highlights:

Ø 400Hp 350

Ø Keisler TKO 600 5-Speed

Ø Moser 12 Bolt True Trac

Ø Detroit Speed Quadra Link 4 Link

Ø DSE/Koni Coilover Shocks

Ø Martz Front Chassis

Ø 4 Wheel Disc Brakes

Ø SandersonShorty Headers

Ø QTP Exhaust Cutouts

Ø Edelbrock Performer RPM Aluminum Heads

Ø Edelbrock Polished Air Gap Intake Manifold

Ø B Cool Radiator with Electric Fan

Ø March Serpentine Belt System

Ø Trick Flow Fuel System

Ø Lots of MSD Ignition Parts

Ø 650 Speed Demon Carburator

Ø Pro Comp Ultra Lite Gauges

Ø Tilt Wheel

Ø Electric Convertible Top

I am sure I am forgetting some things that make this car unique. There is a lot more to this car than meets the eye such as the custom console with Pro Comp Gauges! There are six gauges oil pressure, water temp, vacuum, fuel pressure, volts & oil temp. When you are cruising down the street with the exhaust rumble and the cool gauges in the console you kind of get the early hot rod feel for the car that you would not get in a stock 69 Convertible. It runs 1700 RPM @ 60mph which makes it a super nice driving car that drives and stops like a new sports car! Build cost is way over what I will get for it but that is the way it is........May consider part trade if it makes financial sense to me! I encourage you to ask questions and to come andsee it in person. Please call ahead to make arrangements so I can be available to show it.Just so we are clear I am keeping the VintageWashingtonLicense Plate/License Plate frame and my car club front plate. Also the Camaro is for sale locally so auction could end at any time.Car isdescribed to best of my knowledge, itis a 45+ year old vehicle and is being sold as-is. Car should be picked within 7 days if you need to arrange something different please let me know. Shipping is the responsibility of thepurchaser though I will do all possible to assist shipment if not picking up inperson!Call Harold at 509-679-1412 with any questions.
