Description of 1964 Chevrolet Impala

Listing a 1964 Chevy Impala 9 Passenger Station Wagon. Original California car. Special ordered through a local bay area dealership. The wagon was order with a long list of options.
They include factory:
Air conditioningPower steeringPower brakesPower windowsPower rear tailgate glassPower front bench seatTilt steering wheelAM/FM radioRear cargo speakerRear bumper stepsRear cargo lightRoof rack
The car is all original except for the engine which was replaced in the 80's. The car starts, stops and runs down the highway as normal. No leaks or smokes from the engine. It does have the original 2 spd powerglide. New dual exhaust. The body is rust free with one repaint in the 70's. I have the receipt. All glass is good with no cracks. The interior is 100% original. No tears in all 3 bench seats. Door panels are original. Carpet is original with no holes. Cargo side covers vinyl is cracking. Headliner is drooping in the front and needs replacement.
New 20 inch Boss 338 wheels all around. I will include the original 14 inch steel wheels with good whitewall tires mounted, Chevy spoke hubcap covers in excellent condition. And a set of fender skirts body worked to the factory fenderwells for a tight fit. No modifications were done to the body, only the fender skirts have been modified to fit the stock body.
The wagon has been stored indoors it's whole life. You can tell from the original bumpers and soft weatherstrip. A great car to clear coat and drive as an unrestored wagon.
This is a great opportunity to own an original 9 passenger wagon that wasn't converted from a standard 6 passenger wagon. Look for the "45" in the vin number. Clean California title. Thanks for checking out the auction.
