Description of 1967 Chevrolet Chevelle

We are the 3rd owners of this RUST FREE 1967 Malibu Chevelle Convertible. This is a "numbers matching" car but not all original. Motor, Trans, Rearend etc.Match. The car is not a trailer queen that you can put mirrors under or it would be 70k. Its not perfect and does have some really minor blemishes however the car is very dependable and very beautiful!! It has the original 283 V8 with a Automatic power glide transmission. The original 10 bolt non-posi rear end. New drive shaft. Motor and grand rebuilt. trans has about 200 miles on it. Motor about 3,000 miles Brand new gas tank and sending unit. The rebuilt original engine has an estimated 400 miles on it. I have the original air cleaner but it has a Edelbrock carb & intake. It has polished Torque Thrust American Racing rims. The brakes are disc front and drums in the rear. STOPS ON A DIME!! Interior is clean. It runs and drives great! The firewall was shaved along with the dash when I got the car but could be put back fairly easy. It was going to have the new vintage air system in it. Non A/C car. I have the original heater controls. Headlights, brights, turn signals, tail lights all work fine.
What doesn't work as of now: As I mentioned above, the heater and A/C, the windshield wipers "new motor just not hooked up", gas gauge works but is off a bit, Horn "relay", Radio "not hooked up". I want to list everything that I can think of as of this moment. All are minor issues!
"manual" convertible top original "non hydraulic". I was going to purchase a after market power top kit for $700 but ran out of time and money. The color is a nice looking metallic blue that really stands out! Original color was butternut yellow. I still have about 2 quarts of the blue paint left for any touch ups if ever needed. It was about $6,000 for the paint job alone. I can send more pics if requested.
