Description of 1992 Chevrolet Camaro Z/28 25th Anniversary

Fire up this 1992 Chevrolet Camaro and listen to that extra high pitched noise within the throaty exhaust.... It's the unmistakable sound of the supercharger added to the performance V8 that lets you know this is the coolest convertible you can pick up for under $23K.It's not hard to love a Z/28 ragtop like this. Either you had one, or envied one at some time in your life. And just like Ray-Ban Aviators, these really never went out of style. There was just something about the sharp-edge styling and factory ground effects that made these the kings of the boulevards in the 1980s and 90s. But this one goes much further. The Arctic White seems to have the kind of shine you don't see too often anymore on these, and then you begin to understand the level of care that's gone into this one. Or what about how the black bra in front not only protects the nose, but it's also a fantastic coordinating complement when the pristine black folding top is in place. And while the third generation Camaros did not have the same kind of chrome bodywork as its predecessors, this one doesn't miss out on brightwork with its polished alloy wheels borrowed from a later model Corvette. When you look inside, you know this Camaro's distinctiveness goes far beyond the 25th Anniversary badge on the dash. It's nearly impossible to have bucket seats looking this good, especially on a convertible that can be out in the elements. So the full factory interior's pristine condition is more evidence of a thoughtful caretaker. Like any good Z/28, this one came loaded right out of the box, including power windows, original AM/FM/cassette stereo, power locks, tilt steering, cruise control, and ice-cold air conditioning running modern R-134a for easier servicing. Having a modern classic like this means you even get a factory airbag in the steering wheel. And beyond that is a new instrument panel with clean white-faced gauges. But when you look at the A-pillar and spot the boost and mixture readouts, you're instantly reminded that this Camaro's uniqueness extends to under the hood, too.The engine bay is stuffed with horsepower. That's a fuel-injected 355 cubic-inch Chevy performance small-block, but you might have trouble seeing it because there's a Paxton supercharger under the hood, too (it fits cleanly with the battery relocated to the trunk for better weight distribution.) Oh yes, there is some serious power pumping under the hood. But more than just upgrading the motor, it's backed up the right kind of components such as a custom torque bar, MSD ignition, aluminum radiator, and dual electric fans. GM has always been about providing driver with stout components, so we know the four-speed automatic can handle the extra power. But more than just an all-out speed machine, this is a solid driver, too. After all, that's an overdrive gearbox, and it's a power steering car. Plus, the control of front disc brakes and grip of Goodyear Eagle tires are welcomed in all driving conditions.Huge power in a pristinely preserved convertible body, and there's even a book of restoration/preservation/creation receipts to back it all up. It's a cool Camaro that happens to also be an enormous value. Call today!!!
