Description of 1975 Chevrolet Corvette Coupe |
1975 Corvette T-Top. L-48 350, automatic. One owner, extremely original, 22,500 miles. Original paint, original optional leather interior, and all numbers matching. Factory A/C (needs charge), power steering, power brakes, power windows, tilt wheel, AM/FM. All original exhaust, radiator, brakes, fuel system, etc. Lighting, gauges, and electrical system all work correctly. Tires have been replaced with BFGoodrich Radial T/A’s, but I still have the original Goodyear SteelGard rubber (spare has never been used). The interior is in very nice condition, the seats, dash, and door panels are all indicative of the light use and indoor storage the car has always received. Never driven in any nasty weather, absolutely corrosion free. Always garaged. Never disassembled or damaged in any way. Runs and drives like a new 1975 Corvette. Minor scuff on drivers side front fender (can probably be buffed out), and some paint chips here and there on the front end, but not bad. The main problem with the car is the urethane bumpers, whichare badly cracked and discolored, see photo's. They need to be replaced but since the car is absolutely original in every other respect I haven't touched them. The car never sat outside, so it isn't sun exposure that cracked them, they are just so brittle with age that they crack a little more every time you simply look at them. My father bought this car new in 1975, but he is 93 now and no longer drives, so it's finally time for a new owner to take over. |
