This car has been in storage for forty years or more. As far as I can tell it is numbers matching with original paint. The paint looks good at a distance but has some scratches and a few little dents but as far as I can tell it is original. The story is it sat in a dealership showroom for 20 years or so..It even has the original license plate from WV where the car was bought new. When I got the car the motor was stuck, so it has a rebuilt motor with new pistons,rings,valve job gaskets etc. I also had the carburetor rebuilt, starter rebuilt,new plugs.new plug wires,distributor cap and rotor button. All the fuel line has been replaced with a reconditioned fuel tank and guage. The fuel pump is also rebuilt. The radiator has been replaced with a new original, along with the hoses and belt. It has a new clutch and the rear brakes are good, even the emergency brake works good. All the guages work like their suppose to even the speedometer which I replaced with a used one along with a new speedometer cable. All the lights work and the top goes up and down like it should with no rips or tears. It also has a new battery. The exhaust system is also new. This car starts and runs good, me and my dad have even hand started it a few times. It is great for local car shows and cruise ins.
