1966 Corvette Convertible Mod. Car is a beautiful blue fresh paint... with minimum flaws...(a little rub where top fits on).... with nice black interior. Car is not all rusted out as frame is in great shape.. Car restoration was started about 2 years ago with new 355 Chevy ZZ4 crate motor with approx. 370 HP, new radiator, new tremac 5 speed trans, headers, clutch & p/p, new 4 wheel disc brakes, independent rear suspension was completely rebuilt (bushings, seals, lube, nuts, bolts, bearings, joints, races and alignment ) at a cost of $3200 plus. Over $15K spent on drive train alone in past 2 years: not counting disc brake conversion.. This car has been modified to look like rally race cars in the sixties with headlights being moved to grille to get rid of those mostly none working roll out lights...very professionally done....looks great. Interior is in great shape with after market cup holder and arm rest console. New white top, exhaust, new tires and wheels. This is a beautiful car that I would not hesitate to drive cross the whole USA: car runs great and does not over reve the engine ( engine noise is also greatly reduced ) at 70-75 mph on the interstates and gets good fuel mileage with this overdrive 5 speed tremac trans. This is a excellent driver, cruiser or touring Vette...gets plenty of looks and thumbs up. Alabama does not have title on cars this old but I do have an Iowa title. These C2 Vettes are increasing 8-10% per year and is a great investment. Car is for sale locally and maybe taken off this auction at anytime.
