Description of 1966 Chevrolet Chevelle

Up for auction is a True 138 VIN Code 1966 Chevelle Super Sport 396with a Muncie M-21 4-speed Manual Transmission. Older restoration. Nice driver quality car currently.Non original 396 believed to be a 1968 or 69' block.

Excellent bumpers
Excellent stainless trim
Excellent interior with 4 speed console.
All interior lights work and all gauges work except the Alt gauge.
Floors and Trunk are very solid.
Newer Wiring Harness front to back.

Although presentable, the paint is beginning to show its age and there are some flaws (see pics). This car was originally Meridian Maroon and is currently a darker maroon color. The interior color is original.There is a small dent on the passenger side roof (also pictured). That said this car is a presentable and reliable driver that can be enjoyed without embarrassment as is. The car runs and drives great. Transmission shifts through all gears smooth and has recently had a new synchronizer, clutch, pressure plate and pilot bearing. Rear end has recently had new seals. New battery.
