Up for bids is my 1950 Chevy Truck. I purchased it to build a Rat Rod Truck. Got into it and just cant find the time to finish it. I took it completely apart down to the frame. Removed the complete front end and took the cab off the frame. The floor, rocker panels and cab supports were in need of repairs. We cut out the bad sections and fabbed in new panels. The rocker panels are new, the inner cab corners, the inner and outer cowls, part of the drivers side floor, the majority of the passenger side floor and cab support. The lower part of the doors were shot so we welded in new sheet metal there. Has new door hinges too. Once done we reinstalled the cab back down on the original frame which is in great shape. The plan was to install the rack and pinion kit with control arms and drop spindles on the front. The original rear end is still in the truck, all the crappy front suspension is gone. I have the complete front end that matches the awesome baby blue rust patina. There is no bed with the truck, didnt get one. The truck has a beefy 8 bolt rear end under it, not sure if the truck was technically a 3100, but it looks cool and will look cool when done. The doors open and close great since fab was The motor is a 5.3 liter engine from a chevy truck, it has roughly 100k original miles on it, I do have a video of it running from the donor vehicle. The trans worked great to. I want to really finish it just ran out of time. The truck does have the original West Virginia Title but the vin plate is so worn out, you cant read it.
