1969 chevrolet corvette 350 4 speed matching numbers factory yellow

up for auction is a matching numbers 1969 Chevrolet corvette..close ratio M21.. its equipped with a 350 and 300 horsepowerand a 4 speed..the odometer shows approximately 32,000 but assume it has 132,000.. overall poor quality older paint job estimated at 25 to 30 years old.."This is a great driving car as is." it turns heads everywhere it goes but make no mistake this car is a "20 footer" because the paint and body are marginal..

If I was gonna keep this vette, I would just drive it like it is..It has great potential if someone wanted to strip it down, paint it and work it into a show car...condition good:rare removeable rear glass, frame is solid-light scale-bird cage solid-arch in front of rear wheels solid! brakes and tires are good...newer exhaust(looks like flowmaster)..sanyo cassette...

work done 5 years /2500 miles ago: rebuilt m21 4 speed, new clutch, rear differential had a whine and it was replaced (kept original for matching numbers..) state of the art r. mowe carbon fiber leaf spring..

in last 6 months 1000 miles:

dashlight switch, all synthetic oils/royal purple for 4 speed and royal purple for rear differential....points, caps, rotor, belts, rebuilt half shafts, accel super coil, valve cover gaskets have all been done

bad:clock inoperative, rear cargo and rear storagecarpet rough, headlight vacuum not strong enough to open headlights (must be manually lifted up). they probably need accuators which would run about $200 ..rear chrome bumpers rough, door panel old, 2 sets of bucket seats...

This car is a cool car that turns heads and is a blast to drive..will need a lot of work to be a show car. This car will have flaws as its a 45 year car ..please don't bid unless you are fully capable of paying for the car..very reasonable reserve..thanks for looking..

A couple of issues i overlooked when writing the ad is: heater hoses are bypassed and the hood could use replacing (the fiberglass on hood isn t very good).
