1964 Chevrolet C-10 Pickup Description 1964 Chevrolet C-10 Stepside Pickup Stunning Hawaiian Orchard Purple Metallic exterior Goodguys Top Ten Pickups in 2005 Custom Dakota Digital Dashboard Oak cargo-bed floor with black tonneau cover “Texas Speed” built LS-3 6.2-liter 418 stroker motor TCI 700R4 four speed automatic transmission with a shift kit Featured in Street Truck MagazineMotoeXotica Classic Cars is pleased to present this handsome one of a kind 1964 Chevrolet C-10 custom stepside pickup. Retaining most of its steel body, this very rare truck was restored and hand-built to its current glory from the ground up to the tune of about $65,000!. It was Goodguys Rods & Customs top ten pickups for 2005! The first Chevrolet pickup truck came out in 1924, though in-house designs did not appear until 1930. “C” indicated two-wheel drive and “K” indicated four wheel drive. In 1960, C/K trucks were available in smooth “Fleetside” or fendered “Stepside” versions. That being said, this C-10 stepside we’re offering barely resembles it’s stock siblings. Finished in a brilliant Hawaiian Orchard Purple Metallic, this all steel stepside pickup shows extremely well with only minor imperfections visible upon close inspection. It should be noted there is a pin hole on the front of the hood and some small cracking on the top of the hood. All the trim is present, complete and displays normal wear with a bright finish. The black tonneau is extremely tight and finish is exquisite with hidden tailgate latch. The weather-stripping is pliable, with little or no signs of drying, tearing or shrinkage. Aggressive stance, shaved doors and custom tail lights are an excellent addition. Fresh oak cargo-bed floor and new stainless steel strips. The custom 18 inch wheels present well with only slight signs of marring. Inside, the two tone grey cloth features a bench seat that looks great. The seat matching door panels and dashboard are a continuation of the striking contrast to the exterior of the truck and look fantastic. The Dakota Digital dashboard equipped gauges are ergonomically placed, have correct appearance and function as originally designed. Working heater and air conditioning. Newer Pioneer AM/FM/CD with amps and Kicker boxes. The custom equipped multi-spoke steering wheel is in excellent condition and functions as designed. This no expense spared built ’64 pickup is nicely equipped with a “Texas Speed” built LS-3 6.2-liter 418 stroker motor, four speed automatic TCI 700R4 with a shift kit and 2400 stall converter with lockup. It also has a brand-new 4:11 ten-bolt posi-traction Camaro rear end with hardened axles. New headers, bolted on 3″ exhaust wrapped with header wrap. 20-inch custom built U.S. MAGS staggered polished 5 spoke alloys on Mickey Ts! It’s impossible to mention the all-time classic pickup models and not included early sixty Chevys…The builder of this particular “labor of love” thought the whole design through, from the deep purple metallic exterior to the “P” producing locomotive train horn. All come together to make this one of the most beautiful custom C-10 pickups we ever seen!… GET OUT AND DRIVE! Current mileage on the odometer 13,134 miles, sold as is and is mileage exempt. The car is being sold on a clean & clear title. VIN: 4C144J136632 Note: Please see full terms and conditions listed below that pertain to the purchase of any said vehicle, thank you. |
