396 cu in with 375 hp
Fresh single stage urethane paint on complete restoration .
The emblems/badges/letters (new, included) haven't been reinstalled just in case the new owner wants shaved look.
Chrome in very good condition except rear bumpers fair.
Striking 2 tone Oxblood/ Black interior .
Brand new leather seat covers .
Brand new pile carpeting throughout .
All interior vinyl in VG condition.
The BBC engine is a '66 Chevelle 396 and has been significantly lightened . Offenhauser aluminum
hi-rise intake and headers means the front could be lowere, and/or setup for gymkana . That will be left to the new owner's spring preference.
Positraction rear . Rally wheels , Tires <500mi Goodyear .
Car drives well at highway speeds with no inordinate vibration . Steering is firm and non-wandering.
All the vacuum operated appurtenances; wiper door, headlight doors work fine .
The ignition has been upgraded to HEI . So the mechanical tacho not connected.
Brakes have been converted to DOT5 fluid . All new calipers.
The entire interior has been soundproofed with liquid applied rubbe, then sound/heatproofed with sheet layer . The footwells/ engine firewall also double insulated .
Modern 3 pt GM seat/shoulder belts installed in original location .
The convertible top frame is included in the auction .
That way you can install your choice whit, ta, or black color top .
