1978 Chevy CorvetteIndy 500 Pace Car***************************************1978 Chevrolet Corvette. "Official Pace Car, 62nd Annual Indianapolis 500 Mile Race, May 28th 1978" 1 of 6502 Pace Cars made in 1978. 350 L-48 engine with automatic transmission. The car runs and drives good with only 89300 miles. Some features include glass t-tops, power windows, power locks, air conditioning, aluminum wheels, tilt telescopic steeringcolumn..... I wouldconsiderthis Corvette anaboveaverage driver quality car. The paint is very shiny and looks good from a few feet away. It gets a lot of positive attention when we drive it around. It will need some paint repair but looks good enough to drive everyday. The paint has some blistering / bubbling (mostly on the doors and front) Someone has bumped the front bumper and the paint is cracked and the front spoiler has bumped a parking stop. Frame is good, needs better tires. This car is not a project by no means, just a really nice driver. That looks good enough to drive and maybe fix the paint next winter. Interior is pretty nice with a little fading on the carpet and driver seat cushion just from sliding in and out, NOT torn. Located in Des Moines, Iowa 50313515.528.2636 |
