Up for auction is a 1978 Chevy K10 that has been fully restored. It has been a 4 year build with over $30,000 invested. It was disassembled down to the frame the frame has been sandblasted and painted with automotive paint. All suspension was rebuilt with urethane bushings and body mounts. It has all new brake shoes drums rotors calipers wheel cylinders new stainless prebent hard lines for the brakes fuel and trans cooler and fuel lines The flexible brake lines were custom ordered to be correct length for the lift as well as stainless park brake cables. It has a 6 inch suspension lift with new Rancho shocks. The engine is a 350 freshly rebuilt with new Edelbrock parts intake and carb are new as well It has a mild cam. The trans in a turbo 350 freshly rebuilt and the transfer case is a NP205 freshly rebuilt It has a Dana 44 front rear that has been gone thru with new bearings and new warn manual hubs. The exhaust is a flowmaster Ufit mandrel bent stainless pipe 2 1/2 inch with stainless flowmaster series 40 mufflers Has a nice sound but not obnoxious loud. The cab has had rockers cab corners floor pan and cab mounts replaced and is rust free. The front fenders front inner fenders radiator support front grille filler panel hood both doors bed headboard both bed sides and bed wheel tubs are all new. The only sheet metal that is not new is the cab shell bed floor and tailgate which are all rust free as well. The underside of cab inside of fenders under be and inside of bed are all painted with base clear like the rest of truck. The truck is painted gm victory red and gm frost white. The interior has been redone with new headliner carpet door panels dash pad and seat. There is heat barrier under carpet. The speedometer has been replaced and there are around 20 miles on truck since completed. I am driving truckoccasionally so there will be a few more miles on it but should not exceed 100 miles if that. It has vintage air which is brand new but has not hadFreon put in it yet I will try to have that done by end of auction. The bed rails are the Gm woodgrain rails and have been re chromed polished and have new decals They are as close to new as possible The alone are worth over$1000. All the trim is new with new front bumper and NOS rear bumper. All the paint and body work were professionally done. The truck has a 6 inch lift with new 35-12.50-15 BFGoodrich tires on gm rally wheels that have been refinishedin silver base clear paint. Truck is as close to new as you can get. I haveput over 500 hours of time in restoring it and have well over 200 pictures of the build process and two binders full of receipts. I do not have to sell but I have lost interest in it and am ready to move onto the next project. My reserve is way less than what I have in it but my loss is your gain. This is a very nice truckand was built to be a show winner not a toy and was done right with no expense spared. I also have a copy of the original factory invoiceowners manual warranty manual and some factory literature. I have a few new unused parts to go with truck also.
