Description of 1969 Chevrolet Chevelle

1969 Malibu set up as Chevelle SS clone. 396cu motor with serpentine belts, electronic ignition, Edelbrock carb with electric choke, electric fans. Motor was rebuilt but I'm not sure when. It's clean under the valve covers and parts look new so it was too many miles ago. TH400 transmission was rebuilt last month. Front disk brakes and rear drum. Runs and drives incredible, this is a great cruiser. This was my daily driver last year. Body is not perfect but it's not bad at all, a real head turner.
I have owned this Chevelle for one year. When I purchased the Chevelle it ran great but didn't drive well. I rebuilt the rear brakes (drum) and installed new emergency brake cables to enable the e-brake. I had new suspension installed all the way around, shocks and springs. New wheels and tires. New carb. New water pump and pulleys to convert to serpentine belts. Upgraded head lights to H4 lights with halos that can be multiple colors. The halos have not been wired up yet but I have the wiring and remotes to change the colors. I did a few other minor things but these are the major things which made the car a great driver.

There is no major rust or dents. There is some rust bubbling under the paint in the bottom corner of each door. There is a little bubbling under the paint above the rear window at top passenger corner. There is also a patch of off-red paint on the driver rear fender. Past that there are some paint chips. The passenger door has a big chip from when the door hinges were replaced. The driver door and front fender were rubbing prior to hinge replacement so the paint is rough at that joint. All of the above is pictured. I consider all of this minor as the car overall looks great, as pictured.

Thanks for looking.
