Wisconsin title. Up for auction is an excellent example of the extremely rare military M1028A2 Chevrolet 4x4 diesel dually. Only 300 were produced. This particular unit was assigned to a Native American tribe by the U.S. government. We purchased it directly from them. It has an actual 66,xxx miles. The truck drove in and we have put over one hundred miles on it. The engine runs excellent, starts right up, no blow-by or noise. Transmission and transfer case both, function properly with no issues. The truck steers and brakes straight. It has been not only serviced and detailed, but also has a new correct 383 woodland carc repaint. The unit has also passed DOT inspection, all lights, heater, wipers, horn, door and ignition locks are in working order and it has a clear Wisconsin title. I would feel confident in jumping in it and driving it anywhere. Here's what we know is wrong with it: very small engine oil leak, oil pan or rear main seal; three cracked secondary rear leaf springs; missing spare wheel and tire, small rock chip in windshield. The unit is not only a very good example of this rare model, but it is extremely correct, right down to the brand of the tires, as it was delivered to the military by Chevrolet. Great vehicle for show, work or play!
