Description of 1948 Chevrolet Loadmaster 5 window Shell Oil Fuel Truck

1948 Chevrolet 5 Window Loadmaster
Former Shell Oil Fuel Truck including Shell decals on doors and tanker
All original and complete except for the radiator (someone probably scrapped it for $3)
Engine and other mechanical conditions are unknown. Though the brakes seem to pump up.
The cab and sheet metal are solid and complete with a few wrinkles in the front left fender (reddish primer)
Only a few rust spots in the bed around the fender well and lower edges.
Steps and floors are solid.
Front glass and 3 rear windows are good. Both door glass pieces are broken.
Dash is straight and complete. Glass is broken in one of the gauges.
The fuel tank is located inside the drivers side compartment on the tanker body.
Passenger side compartment has the original hose reel, hose and pump. Reel operates manually and has an electric starter motor Hooke to it as well.
8.25 x 20 tires all hold air.
Truck rolls and steers easily.
The truck 23' overall length.
This truck could be a super cool original restoration project, a patina driver, or truly unique rat rod project.
The truck is being sold with a bill of sale.
Truck is located in Sandpoint, Idaho 83864 and buyer is responsible for all shipping arrangements.
