Description of 1965 Chevrolet Malibu

2nd owner very original condition 1965 Chevy Malibu 4 door with a 283ci 2 speed power glide transmission. 70,693 original miles on a very solid and rust free body and chassis.
I purchased this car from the originalowner after it had sat garaged and unused for over 14 years. I did thework listed below to the car to make it roadworthy and have driven the car 500 miles since I purchased it two years ago. My intention was to do a complete restoration butmy time has been consumed my restoring antique motorcycles (my greaterpassion).
The car had two silver dollar sized rust holes in the lower rear quarter panel and two small holes in the trunk that I professionally welded and had a professional body shop paintthe car from theside moldings down.In addition I had the body shop paint all door jams and insides of doors. The doors were rust free and 99% of the original seam sealer is intact. The inside of the trunk has also been spatter painted. Bumpers, chrome and grille are in excellent condition.
The paint on theroof and trunk is checked and will need to be stripped.The upper half of the car will need to be painted to make this into a show car. The interior of this car is in near mint condition with zero rips or tears and only minimal wear on carpet.
The car is completely ready to drive as-is and I've had some good times taking it to shows and cruise-ins where it always receives a lot of attention.
