As you can see this 1966 Corvair Monza is sitting in front of a storage unit.It has been sitting in Dry Storage for 8 years. After wiping off the dust I will describe the Car to My Best Knowledge. Good :- The engine is original and only has 40,396 miles on her
- the interior looks great because she was store with the top up.there are no rips in the seats and the Dash looks great as well as the door panels
- the top looks newer and goes up and down with no issues
- the boot has no rips and looks to be original
- There are plenty of manuals and xtra oil filter that goes with car
- We drained the Gas and put fresh Gas in and fired right up / Carbs did not leak and ran good for 10 minutes.
- Transmission shifted smooth as I took her through the parking lot
- All windows go up and down and there is no cracks in any of the glass
- Chrome on Car looks good-- no rust or corrosion / but could use a cleaning
- Trunk looks good with no corrosion or rot through
- Original Spare and Jack are in car.
- Tires look newer and the spinner Rims look great
Bad :- There is some corrosion on body which I took pics of. Someone that knows how to Body work can really freshen up the outside of car
- Brakes will need to be bled
Were starting this classic Corvair at a low price with no reserve. Lets consider this a great Candidate for Restoration- low mileage engine
- interior is excellent
- body will need some work / and paint
ask questions / Car is sold AS IS / with no warranty
