Description of 1957 Chevrolet Other Pickups

Welcome! Selling my 1957 Chevrolet 3200 1/2 ton pick-up truck. It has the very rare and desirable BIG BACK WINDOW WITH STEP SIDE LONG BED. RARE !The truck is a beautiful Red color that is in very good condition with the exception of a few blemishes. When the sun hits it. it looks absolutely beautiful. It is a real head turner that pulls an unreal amount of compliments. The engine is a V8 327 with a BRAND NEW. two week old. Edelbrock 650 carburetor with new fuel line. The engine is paired with a 4 speed. Muncie manual transmission. The engine runs great. but could use a tune up and a new dress up kit. Transmission shifts fine but could use a linkage adjustment. Outfitted in Chevrolet Corvette rally wheels (will need tires soon). Truck has a brand new gas tank. filler neck. ascending unit. and all new fuel lines. It does have power steering (steering could stand to be tweaked). It has drum brakes all the way around. The brakes and wheel cylinders are fairly new. but will need adjusting in the near future. It has a brand new heater and heater fan system. It is installed along with the hoses. just lacks electrical wiring hooked up. All glass/rubbers in great condition. with the exception of driver's vent window has a small crack. and the big back window has a few miscellaneous scratches. The drivers side seat does have a tear (see picture). Will need park light housing; the terminal broke off where the bulb inserts (the lens is fine and to repair this would be around $12). There is a small rust spot on the bottom of passenger door (See picture). Truck is overall in fantastic condition. and runs and drives beautifully. It is driven almost every day. The wood in the bed will need replacing if desired. We ever haul anything and enjoy the "patina" look. so its never been a concern of ours. The truck is from California and restored there around 15 years ago. It has been garaged EVERY night. BID WITH CONFIDENCE! THIS IS NOT A RUST BUCKET BARN FIND!!!!!!!
