1974 CHEVY VEGA HOT ORANGE DRAG RACE CAR

Runs mid to low sixes/105 MPH+ in the 1/8 with freshly rebuilt powerglide (with cooler).

Car has wheelie bars and will stand up when dialed in and hooking up.

Like we all do, I've sunk a ton of money into new parts including but not limited to:

New adjustable rear shocks

New fuel pump and braided fuel line

New custom built BLP carb

New aluminum radiator/fan

New power line to front of car

New rear deck with two new red top batteries

New distributor, new ignition and coil

New BM shifter set up to be auto

New gauges and tach

New aluminium driver seat & 4 point harness

New rear slicks (less than 10 passes)

New Lexan front and rear quarter windows

Rebuilt master brake cylinder and steering linkage.

Rear window is original glass and the front end is steel with the exception of the hood of course.

Doors are steel as is the entire back half.

Car weighs around 2400 pounds with latters, 9 inch rearend, steel square tube frame, Ford rack and pinion front end.

Motor runs on high octane fuel (was on alcohol prior to me)...have not dyno'd but it's likely around 550HP. It's a door slammer so it has some cosmetic hickies - but it sits low and thus looks like a pro car. It's one of the best looking Vegas for the money in TX as far as I'm concerned. Paid $12k for the car few years ago and have easily 25k into it. Will sell as a roller for 8500.
