Description of 1967 Chevrolet Camaro Convertible |
For sale is my project for the past 10 years. It is a totally custom 1967 camaro convertible. It is a rotisserie restoration (I have pics) with virtually every piece and part replaced. It has custom paint and smooth firewall. The engine bay is painted to match the exterior as well as the dashboard. The R/S lights function as they should. It has dyno mat installed in the cab area and the entire underside and cab area are treated with raptor liner epoxy bed liner so it will never rust again. It also has Dakota digital VHX gauges and ididit tilt steering column. It has a NEW (from the dealership, not a transplant) LS2, 430 hp crate engine. Mounted on that engine is a D1SC procharger. This combo has been dyno'd and produces 525 rwhp (have the dyno sheet) on just 5 lbs of boost. Backing that power plant is a stage 2, T56 six speed rated at 700hp with a centerforce racing clutch, custom drive shaft and moser 12 bolt rear end with 4:56 gears (with the 6 speed it runs down the highway at 70 mph at 1900rpm). It also sports Detroit Speed and Engineering 3 inch lowering leaf springs, low profile caltrac (traction system) and Hotchkis convertible sub frame connectors (still in the box ready to be installed. She also has 6-piston front and 4 piston rear Wilwood disc brakes, and custom torque thrust 18 inch wheels. The sub frame and suspension is all power coated and the front has tubular control arms and coil over adjustable shocks. I also have many additional parts from this and other builds. It all goes with the sale. The list goes on and on. I'll do my best to list everything below. It has a clean title however it is a state issued vin. When I bought the car there was no title and the vin was unreadable so I went through all the proper agencies and procedures to acquire a state title. This is absolutely legit and can be transferred to any state. The only difference is it doesn't have a GM vin anymore. Now for a few things that are still outlying: Reverse light power not hooked up yet, wire came loose on the pass electric seat motor, needs to be reattached. There is no heater or provisions for one. I drive this car as much as possible as that is what it was built for. This is no trailer queen and does notdeserve to be garaged the rest of its life. That's why I went through all the hassle of rust proofing and bed lining the underneath. If you like driving, you'll love this car. Remember this car is driven and such has someblemishes. Now I am sure you are wonder why I am selling. Well I am in the military and have been, and will continue to be, moving around a lot. I can't keep dragging it around with me and with a potential overseas assignment it definitely can't go with me. I'd hate to see it sit around for the next 2-3 years. As it stands now, it is located at my father's house in Billings, Montana, as I couldn't take it with me to my current location.
