Very rare opportunity to own a 99% original, unrestored, rare Evening Orchid 1965 Malibu Super Sport. Number's matching 283, Powerglide Automatic, 49k Original Miles! This rust free '65 SS runs and drives amazing. The car can sit for several weeks and all you have to do is reach through the window and turn the key and it starts and idles immediately, as though it's fuel injected. Original paint, all original interior, trim, etc., this is a true time capsule. The only things changed since 1965 are the fan belt, shocks, brakes and a new dual exhaust in place of the original single exhaust and new Michelin tires. Two of the original tires go with car. This is a documented 49k mile car. Very easy car to restore, no hidden issues, amazing interior, everything works as new and it does not smoke or leak a drop of oil. Beautiful floors, trunk floor and frame. Everything works as it should, beautiful glass except windshield will need replacing. Bright dash lights and interior lights, horn, heater, wipers, reverse lights, and even the original radio sounds good. They are only original once and how many untouched original '65s are there in arguably the most sought after color of Evening Orchid? Have it repainted and take to next level or show as a true survivor car. I encourage inspection of car anytime before auction end, you won't be disappointed. Fly in and drive this car home! Car comes with its original Owner's Manual, sales paperwork and clear Colorado Title showing 49k actual miles. This is a NO RESERVE Auction! I have many more photos that I can email or call me with any questions or more info (719)289-8648. I can also help set up very affordable shipping through a local reputable transport company. Thanks for looking and good luck! On Jul-25-16 at 08:57:15 PDT, seller added the following information: Let me clear up some confusion on the subtle differences and rarity of this Malibu SS. This car was manufactured by GM of Canada. Back in the 60s GM had a plant in Canada. This car is identical in every way as a similar model built in the U.S. with a few subtle differences. Instead of the firewall being painted all black, it was painted as you see it here, that is original paint. Also the trunk was not spatter or speckle painted it was painted body color, that is the original Evening Orchid paint in the trunk. The air cleaner and oil fill cap were also unique to Canadian built cars. And it manufactured with a speedometer that reads "Miles Per Hour" not "Kilometers per hour". As far as I am aware of, those are the only subtle differences between Canadian and U.S. Produced models in 1965. In addition the VIN starts with a "5" prior to the "138" denoting a GM of Canada built car. Hope that clears up any confusion. I personally brought this car to the U.S.
