*NO RESERVE AUCTION. STARTING @ JUST $1968*Beautiful 1968 Short bed. big back window. early C10 'Custom' Chevrolet. Original owner bought it new in California. and lived in Paradise Ca most of the trucks life. Owner moved up to Oregon for just a few years before passing it down to his son. November 2014. in Paradise. Ca. Rust free. nbsp;extremely straight. solid truck. Rare. remarkable. mostly original red interior. Freemont CA built. Original build sheet (taped together now) recovered from under the seat still exists and is included. Rare loaded (Custom model. like Cheyenne) short bed with automatic turbo 350. V8. power steering and power brakes. Had a shell all of it's life until this sale. so inside bed condition is much better than most. Painted once with mild touch ups over the years but no major accident evidence. Simply perfect survivor patina. Runs great. fantastic actually (video available). Shifts precise and firmly (video available). Goes down the freeway without the usual freeway wander and is very easy to drive. With it's 307 gear ratio. it glides down the freeway effortlessly at 70 mph. Extremely original truck in as close to 100% unmolested condition as you will find. Original Radio and dash speaker work great (video/audio available). Everything works for that matter. including things like the dome light. horn. heater. wipers (both speeds). all exterior lighting. high and low beams. turns signals. nbsp;etc. Choke has been updated to electric. Tires are like new. Truck is really in turn key condition and has been maintained as a daily driver all these years. Original owner had recently installed cruise control (working) to assist in driving with a bad hip condition. Pre purchase inspections welcome.
