This 1966 Corvette Coupe has gone through a full body-off restoration that was completed in March of 1999. The restoration was done by Sun Country Group in Scottsdale, Arizona. The car has a Trophy Blue exterior with a Dark Blue Vinyl interior. The Trophy Blue exterior was only offered in 1966 and of the 27,720 corvettes produced that year only 1,463 were ordered in Trophy Blue. The car has a Numbers Matching Big Block motor that measures 427 cubic inches and produces 425 horsepower along with all the correct chassis markings and correct date coded components. It is optioned with the M-21 4 speed manual transmission, 3:70 rear, as well as factory side pipes. This car won an NCRS Regional Top Flight Award in 2000 scoring 4396 points out of a possible 4510 to earn a total score of 97.4. In 2004, it won a NCRS Chapter (Local) Top Flight Award scoring 4307 points out of a possible 4510 to earn a total score of 96.7. I have owned this car since 2001 and can confidently say it is the strongest running muscle car I have ever driven. It has been garage kept and maintained for the entire duration of my ownership, with proper mechanical maintenance including complete tune ups every few years. I have receipts and records of the restoration process as well as a California Ownership Certificate from the first documented owner that dates back to 1970. Feel free to contact me with any questions.
