1949 Chevrolet Panel Va, Original California vehicle (I have a copy of the original title).I bought this beauty in 2009 and had it shipped to Canada where it went through an extensive restoration/ modification in 2012. All work professionally done be Don Nichols dream machines. The body of the 49 Chev was lifted off the original frame and mounted onto a 1996 Chevrolet S10 with the V6 Vortec engine. All the wiring was merged into the original wiring, new gauges installed as well as the steering column from the S10 was used and all the chrome was replaced. The van rides like a modern 90s van it has four wheel disc brakes a new driveshaft new radiator with electric fan and countless other modifications to complete the build. I moved to Tucson Arizona and had it shipped here in 2013. This year I decided to finish the van. I had it painted about six months ago. Just did all the interior, the rear floor replaced with new wood, new wheels and tires, new modern stereo with the old look, new steering wheel and all new door seals. This truly is a one of a kind a 1949 on a 1996 frame, there is so much time and money that went into the custom vehicle. I have set the reserve at a fraction of what I have into (guessing $80 000) it but my loss is your gain, if the vehicle sells in Arizona and is not shipped out of state a 7.1 sales tax will apply, I am a Golf Cart dealer and the van is an asset of the company.
