This is a very clean, very nice 1963 Chevrolet Corvair Monza 900 Convertible. The vehicle has 143,184 miles on it but it has a rebuilt 1965 140 HP motor in it with just a few thousand miles on it. I have owned this car for three years and have really enjoyed it but a 53 year old vehicle needs to be owned by a person that is more of a mechanic than I am. Everything works on this car - it just passed inspection in May as you can see in picture #10. Although it has new points, plugs, plug wires and condenser I still am having trouble keeping it running. It has four single barrel carburators and I suspect they need to be adjusted. It has no rust and just a few very minor chips in the paint.Everything works. It has a new battery, starter, and it was just very recently tuned up with new plugs, points, condenser, plug wires, distributor rotor and cap and the brakes were rebuilt in the last 2000 miles. The top is not in good condition but I never replaced it because I always drove with the top up. It has a new top cover and a tonneau cover as well. All this little beauty needs is an owner who is handy with automobiles. I am not and am willing to let it go cheaply because I am automotively challenged. I have the original hand book and a number of spare parts that I received from the previous owner. This vehicle is located in Texas City, Texas and the buyer will be required to arrange delivery.
