FROM THE OWNERS DESK" I purchased the car from an older gentleman in Texarkana, Texas in 2014. He purchased it from the original owner in 2012. He stated that he probably only drove it around a total of 600-700 miles in the 2 years he owned it. The car was restored frame up around 2008. The suspension and brakes were rebuilt along with the engine and transmission. The car drives very well and is reliable "
Many of our photos of this classic '72 Chevy Monte Carlo were taken at the Dallas Love Field Frontiers of Flight Museum, located only minutes from Texas Classic Cars of Dallas' showroom. Be sure to visit our friends at the Flight Museum if you find yourself in Dallas, Texas.
This copy of the original sales invoice details the features the car was ordered with, adding up to a very substantial retail price of nearly $5,000 on this car circa 1972 !
The corrrect Cranberry Red paint and body are in very good to excellent condition throughout. Again the paint was refinished back in 2008 and shows beautifully today. This is a dry climate Monte Carlo and it shows.
Open the doors to 1972. The interior of this Monte Carlo is in excellent condition front to back.
The Strato-Bucket seating shows well, the vinyl is in great shape, likey replaced during the extensive restoration efforts in 2008.
The dash displays original gauges including the optional in-dash tachometer. The steering wheel is in great shape as is the dash.
Under the hood is the previously rebuilt 350 cubic inch 4bbl. Turbo-Fire V8 fatory rated at 175 horsepower. This powerplant is paired with the rebuilt TH350 3-speed automatic transmission. Factory accessories include power steering, power brakes, and air conditioning.
The original trim identification plate is intact and legible. This is a true Cranberry red car with black vinyl interior.
The undercarriage displays the original flooring front to back. The suspension was rebuilt in 2008 along with the brakes. The frame and flooring is indicative of a dry climate car.
Enjoy our remaining photos and be sure to check out the photo slideshow for additional photos. Again, you are welcomed and encouraged to contact Dave at 214-213-7072 or Maris at 214-616-2317 with any questions.
