. *** COMPLETE FRAME OFF FANTASTIC RESTO --- ONE OF THE BEST *** *** RUNS DRIVES RIDE EXCELLENT --- SUPER DEPENDABLE *** This is a 1952 Chevrolet 3100 half ton pickup truck that was built about 12 years ago into this beautiful show quality vehicle that runs and drives excellent. The owner is a friend of mine who asked me to list because of health concerns. The owner/builder ran a shop for years that built special vehicles like this one. This is the fourth of five of these era trucks that he built into restomods. He began by buying three Chevy pickups and used the best of them to begin construction on this truck. The sheet metal from the cab forward is original. The smooth running boards, bed and rear fenders are aftermarket. This truck has a low mileage LT-1 from a 1996 Z-28 Camaro. The transmission is a rebuilt 700R4. The front clip is from a 1973 Nova and has been completely rebuilt. The rear is a 10-bolt open rear with 3:08 gears from a Nova. The rear springs are from an S-10 and the owner fabricated the mounts for them. This truck drives excellent. While at a show at the Charlotte Motor Speedway the owner drove it at about 100 mph on the track. It is a great driver. The truck has power brakes with a disc/drum combination. It has power steering and Vintage Air with heat and defrost. The interior has bucket seats, console and shifter from a PT Cruiser. The Alpine stereo is AM/FM/CD with four speakers. Bed has oak boards with stainless trim. The yellow paint is show quality and is a Mustang color called screaming yellow. Wheels are Budnik 16X8s with Goodyear T/A directional tires. Truck has all new wiring, new tinted glass, new Steele rubber weather stripping, new trim, and lots of chrome and powder coated parts including the entire exhaust system. This truck has won many awards; recently it won first in its category at the Carlisle All Truck Nationals. Feel free to ask any question and if you'd like to speak to the owner email for his number.
