1968 Camaro Z28 - This is a real Deal 1968 Z28 - I have the original window sticker that is in great shape and very legible, I also have many receipts, old pictures, book log and more that go way back on the Z28, you can see this in the detailed pictures I have posted. I bought this Z28 a while back from the same owner that had it since the 1970's, he had it a long time. When he bought the Z28 in the 70's the original 302 MO motor was replaced with a 1970 1/2 Z28 350 LT1 and still has the original prefix codes and numbers on the passenger side pad just below the cylinder head. The prefix code on the 1970 1/2 LT1 350 is CTB. The Z28 does come with a correct 1968 302 MO Block with the main caps, the original MO Profix and numbers are still on the passenger front pad.The 1970 1/2 Z28 LT1 350 motor runs very strong and was gone through years back and I should have the receipts for the motor work done. The 4spd shifts smooth and clutch seems good. Has it's 12 bolt posi with 3.73 gears and it's power front disc brakes. Also has a very rare rear sway bar that was a service part that you could buy back in 1968. To see this rear sway bar on a car in these days, it's a very rare find, Jerry MacNeish talks about this in one of his books, you can see this in my posted pictures. The original color is Seafrost Green, paint code PP. The car has had only one paint job that was painted Dark Blue in the 80's. The paint is in good shape, it's very presentable for it's old age. The body looks to be pretty straight, does have some small scratches and ware and tear over the years. Around the rear quarter lips there are small rust bubbling and maybe a couple other places, but small, nothing major. The floors are in very good original shape along with the trunk. Over all the rest of the Z28 body looks good. This Z28 has always been taken care of and always garaged. I do have the original rear Z28 bumperettes that the old owner had rechromed, there in great shape. The original black interior is in very good shape, trim code 712. This Z28 came with a rear fold down seat that is very rare to come in a Z28. The glove box door still has the original 15 inch tire size sticker that has never been touched, you can see this in the posted pictures. The Z28's only came with 15 inch rims. There is a old picture of my 1968 Camaro Z28 from the early 70's that I posted with it's originalSeafrost Green Paint, it's actually a good looking color, Silverish green.
I described my rare 1968 Camaro Z28 to the best of my knowledge. |
