1964 Chevy Fleetside C10 short wheelbase pickup. A little piece of history for those of us who grew up in the 60s. No a/c., roll the windows down and hang your elbow out of the window while rocking to the Beach Boys on the radio. I bought this truck in 1990 with plans to finish the restoration. Hurt my back, had several surgeries, and am finally ready to let it go, hoping that someone else can enjoy putting the finishing touches on it. Double hump heads, Edelbrock aluminum intake manifold, Edelbrock 650 cfm carburetor. Installed a painless wiring harness a few years back, all lights, windsheild wipers, heater work. Has a dual exhaust. Wood bed with chrome strips. 12 bolt rear end, new brakes, new wheel cylinders, new clutch. Body is in excellent shape. The truck has been in a closed shop for most of the time I have had it. Paint is in great shape, with the exception of the clear-coat on the front-edge of hood is peeling, so that may need work. I took the radio out with plans to replace, but decided that the next owner may have his own preferences. The odometer does not work, but the 1969 327 c.i. motor was rebuilt just before I bought it, and I estimate I have driven it maybe 300-400 gentle miles. This truck has not been treated like a "Hot Rod". Lots of fun to drive and gets a lot of second glances! ONLY SERIOUS INQUIRIES AND BIDDERS PLEASE!! Feel free to contact Wayne with any questions you may have at 903-293-2777. E-mail is also a preferred method to communicate. FYI: I am also listing this beautiful gem on other selling sites.
