Here in the Houston Showroom we have super gorgeous blue 1970 Chevelle - Malibu. The 1970 Chevelle has a distinctly sculpted body with tapered front fenders and a rounded beltline. The car adopted a long-hood/short-deck profile with a high rear-quarter "kick-up". Hardtop coupes featured a semi-fastback, flowing roofline. The new body style debuted for the 1968 model year and became so popular that it endured with updates for five years. Among these second-generation models, the small-displacement Chevelles are among the most popular GM A-bodies ever produced, which makes them a good choice if you're looking for a low-priced collector car endowed with the same DNA as its high-priced sibling. While prices of numbers-matching big-block Chevelles are out of reach of the common man, the less expensive Malibus and 300 trim models with small-block V-8s, and even straight-six engines, make a great, affordable alternative. The standard Chevelle braking system consisted of self-adjusting four-wheel drum brakes with 11-inch front discs available as an option. The front and rear brake drums measure 9.5 inches in diameter, and sit nicely behind the custom chrome wheels. This Chevelle features a 383 Stroker V8 engine built by Joey's Engines, the power is delivered by a Munince M20 4 speed transmission, an upgraded Champion 3-core Radiator. This Chevelle is perfect for cruising on the weekend or taken to your local car show. - Please give the Houston Showroom a call at 832-243-6220 or come in a see us! Monday - Saturday. 9am-5pm. -
