Description of 1972 Chevrolet Blazer K5 Blazer CST |
I am selling my 1972 Blazer. I reserve the right to end the auction at any time because the truck is also for sale locally. I am setting the reserve at $10k. I am sure the truck is worth a lot more. If you have questions, ask. I expect you to show up in person to pick up the truck. Although the truck is driveable, I highly recommend picking it up with a trailer or some sort of tow rig. I would not drive this truck to the state line. The title is clean and green. The tag has been "black" tagged because the truck is not driven regularly. Here are some of the details: I put a new gas tank in the truck last year. This required buying a new tank and having the filler neck taken off of the old tank and soldered on to the new tank. The truck has a new aluminium radiator. I could not find a copper radiator that was an exact replacement, so I got an aluminum one which looks close. The truck needs some carburetor work because the float sticks and you can only start the truck if you tap it with a hammer. The transmission has a fluid leak. The transmission shifts fine and operates normally, but the leak will run the transmission dry in about a month if it is just sitting. The paint looks like someone tried to freshen it up by putting a new coat on the truck, but it is in the original ochre yellow and matches the build sheet in the glove box. |
