1986 Chevrolet C20 Pickup Truck. Bought New in Hickory NC. Truck has factory 350 ci 4 bolt main, factory 4 barrel carb, Granny 4 speed, Factory Dual Exhaust, Power Brakes, Power Steering, Tinted Glass, 3.73 rear end, 8600 lb gvw, and only 113,000 Original Miles. It runs and drives great! Engine is all original, runs smooth and has no leaks, doesn't smoke or use oil, and has no ticks or knocks. The transmission is tight and shifts properly and the clutch feels good. The steering is tight and the brakes are new. Body is solid and the truck has recently been repainted due to peeling paint. Both doors close nice and lock/unlock with the original key. The tailgate opens and closes properly.Nice original wheels and hubcaps.Interior is nice. All the gaugeswork properly except the fuel gauge. (see below) Heater and Defroster work well. Dash has been recovered in vinyl and carpet. Seat has a nice tight custom cover but the original seat only has a small split. The Truck has a current NC State Inspection and has just had the oil changed and all the fluids checked. Its good to go. Can be driven anywhere.
The Truck is not a show truck the paint looks good and the truck is verypresentable but it not perfect.The fuelgaugedoes give you a Idea how much gas is in the truck. Reads a half tank when full and a 1/4 when its getting low so its better than nothing. The tires passed inspection but do have some weather checking. The back tires are aaggressivetread and fronts are not.
The Truck has a nice tool box with keys, and a class III Reese style hitch, a trailer brakecontroller and wired for a 7 pin plug.
