Description of 1959 Chevrolet Other Pickups Apache 3100

Up for auction is a 1959 Chevy Apache 3100 1/2 ton SWB pick up. This truck was built to be a show truck and a truck that I can drive. This truck had a frame off restoration. The frame was cleaned and coated with P. O. R. 15 chassis paint and top coated with semi gloss black. The cab was sand blasted and the floor was also coated with P. O. R. 15 inside the cab and under the cab. The cab corners were replaced and the cab was mounted to the frame with new hardware. The fenders were also blasted and epoxied primed before the paint was applied. Underside of all the fenders was coated with P. O. R. 15. The truck body was then painted turquoise and white with PPG Base Coat. Clear Coat then sanded and buffed to perfection. Was just completed last month Dec 2014. Rebuilt 327 SBC. approximately 300 Horsepower. A mid street strip cam and Contender intake. Pro Comp HEI distributor. serpentine belt system. new chrome alternator. new starter. new Holley 650 4 bbl carb rebuilt 700r4 overdrive transmission. New 3 row aluminum radiator with custom built fan shroud. new radiator hoses. new wire harness. new 16 gallon gas tank. new fuel lines and brake lines. power steering. power brakes. new chrome bumpers . new chrome grille. new chrome headlight bezels. new stainless steel tail lights and a new tail light brackets. new chrome outside mirror. Interior. New autometer guages ALL WORK. new 15" custom grant steering wheel. Tilt steering column. Horn installed. works. Custom built console with shifter. black leather bucket seats drivers seat is 8-position power. Passenger seat is not power. new headliner new chromed dome light. new kick boards. new carpet with jute padding. new chrome rear view mirror. new glove box. new am/fm cd player radio installed. New window seals. new hood to cowl BED new stainless steel bed strips and angle strips. custom cyprus wood slates. new stainless clutch head fender bolts. new stainless bed hardware. new stainless bed chains. New windshield and rubber. New custom wheels and tires. Front: 225-35-ZR20 Rear: 255-35-ZR20 the front brakes are disc the back brakes are drum. The windshield wipers have a new 12volt conversion kit. They are 2 speed wipers. all hardware for wipers are new. wiper arms/blades. The front of the original chassis has grafted onto it a front clip from a 78 Camero. All the parts have been replaced includng the disc brakes and brake lines. The rear end is a posi traction and came off a 1979 Trans Am and the drum brakes and lines are new on it also. The gas tank was moved to the rear of the truck frame and is a new 16 gallon tank all fuel lines are new. The truck has dual exhaust that come out in front of the rear bumper. It sounds really good. The truck runs. drives. stops and everything works as it should. There is no oil. coolant. or transmission leaks. There is no heat or A/C in the truck. although the heater connections are there and there is a working AC compressor on the engine. Truck will be stored in a climate controlled garage until pickup. or shipping arrangements.
