1962 Impala Pillarless Hardtop, Rat Rod, Low Rider, Air Ride, Custom, Hot Rod

Up for auction is a very solid dry-States 1962 Impala Pillarless Hardtop.This car has spent much of its life in Mexico, and still has a parking permit sticker in the front window from 1988 (see photos). A true Rat Rod, Low-Rider Car, this is a custom vehicle and should be viewed as such. Ready to drive and enjoy, or add your own personal touch at your own pace!

This Impala has a 350 small block Chevy engine and a 3-speed auto transmission. Custom 20" Dayton Wheels with new tires. The suspension is a 7-way Air Ride System. Front, back, side-to-side air ride. No permanent modifications done, so it can be returned to stock if desired. All original parts included in the sale.

Front disc brake and double reservoir conversion. New headers and custom side-exit exhaust. New fuel system.Runs, drives and sounds Awesome!

Body and Chassis/Frame are very solid. Only 2 patches that I can see in floor pan and trunk area. Original sheet metal with mostly surface rust in places to give it that great patina look.The glass is good, and original. Vent windows could be replaced and I do have replacements. The trim and bumpers are complete as well, and show nice,compliments the exterior. All VIN tags & Chevrolet name plates are still present.

The interior is custom and has wear, but clean, and complements the exterior nicely. One door panel does not match. Seat belts are there but need to be fitted.All new sound system, stereo, amp and subs. Car has a unique ignition system to start the car, operated by a switch on the dash. After market gages show the vital systems of the vehicle, oil pressure, battery etc. All lights work. Some electrical connections needed to finish the instrumentation on the dash if you prefer, speedo, fuel or drive as is.

I have many parts included in the sale, mostly all the stock components, suspension, brakes, wheels etc. to return in back to stock if wanted. Various interior parts, glass, original radio, ignition with key etc. Also what I believe is a complete HVAC System still in the box ready to install. All the extra parts I have for the car will be included unless you do not want them.

Clean Michigan title ready to transfer to the new owner. Will include signed Bill-of-Sale also.
