Description of 1969 Chevrolet Chevelle

Up for auction is a frame off restored 1969 Chevelle yenko tribute. This chevelle started live as a true 136 ss car! Who doesn't love a yenko??? Sure we'd all like to have a Camaro or chevelle that was bought new as a yenko car. but very few can afford the 6 figure price tag that comes with one. This car was built from the ground up to be a great driver/show vehicle with plenty of goodies. To start. under the hood is a 69 date coded 427 making an estimated 475hp (the only option for a car built with the yenkos in mind). The power plant is backed by a turbo 400 automatic trans and a 12 bolt rear end with 3. 73 gear. The car is painted beautifully in cortez silver. and I have the yenko stripe kit that has yet to be put on. Personally. I think the decals would look great but when the decision was made to sell the car I figured I would let the new owner make that call. The building of this chevelle was a several year project that resulted in a beautiful. tight handling. rattle free. nbsp;excellent driving machine that has less than 500 miles on it currently. The list of new components is endless. but includes floor pans. trunk. door skins. full quarters. hood. seats. dash pad. shocks. springs. aluminum radiator. drilled and slotted disc brakes up front. power steering. all fresh engine components. all new chrome. console. and cd player with mp3 hookup. The car is nice and straight and rust free. No known mechanical issues at all. Im sure most of you are well aware of what it costs to build a car like this. heck even the cost of building a 427 like this. it isn't cheap. but I believe the market is strong and classic auto values are again on the rise. It is with that faith that I decided to list the car on a 7 day NO RESERVE auction. and let the market speak for itself. Recently another silver yenko tribute here on ebay was bid to 32 thousand some odd dollars with the reserve not being met. Serious bidders only please.
