Description of 1980 Chevrolet C-10 |
1980 C-10 Short Bed Chevy, 2 doorThis vehicle was a daily driver before being stored. I'm selling it because it was going to become a hobby vehicle, but I work so much that I no longer have the time. Currently not driveable because it does not have a radiator, but the truck is in running condition. It never ran hot. Engine:Engine is from a 70's model Corvette. 350 small block Chevy, (was told this could be a 383 stroker) mid-cam with low camelback heads (racing heads) with 3-inch headers, 3-inch exhaust going into H-pipe and Flowmaster turndowns. Has Edelbrock carburetor with highriser with aluminum intake Has installed Street Fire HEI distributor Installed bigger driveshaft to handle torque from motor and transmission The transmission installed is a 400 Turbo. The tail shaft housing has a hairline fracture and would need to be repaired or replaced. I also have the original 350 Turbo that was rebuilt (less than 500 miles) with installed shift kit with new torque converter + original driveshaft is also included with this sale. Body: The stance is higher in the front and lower in the back. There is some light rust but the body is primarily rust free--- primed and body lines are good. Radiator support was changed because it was rusted and bent. It was changed with another 80s model radiator support. Was going to install double lights and put in a new radiator but never got around to it. Rocker panels have some Bond-O. Doors shut properly; no leaks. Had the 2 upper, 2 lower balljoints and 4 upper control arm bushings changed. No rear bumper. Tire size: 275/60/15Rims: 5 star Cragar rimsCurrent tires have weather cracking and would need to be changed. Interior:Push-button start installedNo working air conditioning at the moment. Parts are installed, just detached from engine.Electric fanLeather bucket seatsPioneer deck with detachable face AM/FM radio/CD player and ampWindows are lightly tintedRear sliding windowNew water temp/oil pressure gauge with copper tubingInterior carpet has been removed Mileage is unknown because odometer is not in working order. Please note:I have included some pictures of the engine before it was set into the truck for reference. |
